Since Christmas 2023, 90minutefamily has delivered odds tips and analysis to the Norwegian people. First as a solo project, before it, slowly but surely, gradually grew larger, and now; as one of Norway's largest online communities for sports and gaming. We are extremely proud of that. But everything has its price. And now we are looking for your help.
49 NOK – the price of a life
We have dignity, and therefore we do not sink so low that we resort to begging, or illegal affiliate activities. But we are now on the verge of collapse. So honest we have to be. But for us it has been important to give something back for the money we now want you to give us. Or; we produce odds tips and analysis every day, and will continue to do so, in addition to running Norway's largest knowledge community in Discord, but we want you to get more, if you choose to support us.
So for 49kr a month you will get the following;
- A website free of advertising
- A seamless reading experience, without constant pop-ups
- Surf between all our pages without visual noise
In addition, it is important to remember that you also;
- Support our work
- Helps us to live on
- Shows that you appreciate the work that is being done
We think this is value for money, and more importantly; it is painfully necessary. We have more drastic measures on the drawing board, but want to test this out first. And if none of the measures yield a return, 90minutefamily will probably be shut down during 2026.

Not easy to do right in a society that rewards those who do wrong
We have had several goals with our project. The obvious, and most important, has always been to deliver winning games. And the overview on our website shows that we succeed in that, every single week.
But just as important has been creating a community where it's good to be. In an industry that can be quite brutal and cynical at times, we wanted to establish an online community where we could help each other, applaud each other, lift each other up and learn from each other. We've done that.
But it costs. First and foremost, time. Lots of time. Most of us spend 3-5 hours every day creating content for our visitors. That's a big difference from our competitors, who essentially have their visitors produce the content.
But it also costs money. We don't have figures on how many kroner we've spent on 90minutefamily, but we're talking six figures, without being left with anything. We're on the verge of bankruptcy, and we know we have expenses for domain, hosting and web development. The math doesn't add up.
And that's why it's so frustrating to see our competitors breaking the law, with the legislator's blessing. Because the rules of the Norwegian Gambling Authority are crystal clear, and you are breaking Norwegian law if you share the following;
- Links from the website to foreign gaming companies and/or casino portals.
- Advertisements and other advertising for foreign gaming companies on websites, blogs and social media.
Yet they are allowed to continue. Understand that anyone who can. And even worse; they earn tens of thousands of kroner every month. One thing is that they make money from the advertising they have on the website, but they also make money from everything you lose if you have registered via their links. And do you see the irony? A website that deals in tips, but that makes money from visitors losing on the odds.
The system favors criminals, and we see former pioneers in the field now reduced to pyramid scheme operators. That's just sad. And the fascinating thing is that they are not helpful when their members run into problems with the bookmakers they have been pushed to create an account with. This primarily applies to account verification and/or withdrawals, which is a well-known phenomenon with bookmakers licensed from volcanic Pacific islands. Why don't these members raise their voices? Point the index finger where the problem started? It amazes me.
We're not going there anyway, and this is an attempt to maintain both existence and dignity. Very few have made it this far. With us, you should be able to play where you want, without having to live with the hassle of aggressive door-to-door salesmen.
For the price of a sausage
Because what do you really get for fifty kroner a day? Hardly anything. Or; you can actually get a hot dog on bread at Uno-X for under fifty kroner. Or you get an online community that plays by the book, and is there for you, regardless of whether you win or lose. In addition, we work very hard to ensure that everyone gets something that suits their interests, daily rhythm and choice of bookmaker.
But remember; we don't force anyone. Everything 90minutefamily offers will still be free, if you don't see the value in contributing. We wouldn't have asked for help if it wasn't necessary, but for us, force is an absolute last resort. And let's hope we never get there.
