Running 90minutefamily has become a bigger project than we might have anticipated when we started. Today, we are a website that contains a lot – both in content, functions and community – and it is both inspiring and demanding to keep the wheels turning. Especially when everything is done on a volunteer basis, without pay or any form of compensation. That is precisely why we are also forced, at regular intervals, to stop, evaluate and streamline operations. We must dare to remove what does not work well enough, or is not used as we hoped.
When something disappears, it frees up space for something else
Much remains the same. Our analyses remain the same. The odds list remains the same. We would never touch the snowball and the betting teams at Norsk Tipping. And our community in Discord is worth every minute we put into it. But unfortunately we have not been able to get the betting competition to flow the way we wanted. There are hundreds of us in Discord and thousands visiting the website, but the number of participants has remained stable – stably low. In addition, we see an increasing tendency for many people to simply forget to submit their tips.
We don't blame anyone for that. We try to offer things, and we will continue to come up with new things. When something doesn't work, there's really only one reason for it; the product isn't good enough. It's that simple. But Lasse's portal is far too good for us not to continue using it. That's why we ask you to give us a few weeks of adjustments and improvements. The result will not be a new competition, but something we would rather call "The People's Odds List.".
That means: no table, no pressure, no missed deadlines – just your odds list, just like ours. Via the portal, everyone can follow their own ROI and see how many units they have won over time. And who knows – maybe we’ll come up with some nice prizes for the odds tipster of the month eventually.
