Norwegian national team defender on Barcelona's radar

Barcelona are reportedly looking for a cheaper alternative to Jules Kounde, and in this regard they have turned their attention to Borussia Dortmund.

According to Sky Sports, the Spanish league champions have caught the eye of Julian Ryerson, who has played 20 games across all competitions this season.

The German media even claims that Barça has already initiated dialogue with the Norwegian's representatives, who are said to be open to a transfer if the right offer comes along.

Come to Dortmund in 2023

Julian Ryerson joined Borussia Dortmund from Union Berlin in the winter of 2023, having impressed in the Bundesliga with his energy, dueling strength and tactical discipline. The transfer marked a clear step up in the career of the Norwegian, who quickly settled into the Dortmund team.

Since arriving, Ryerson has been an important and reliable player for the German giants. He has made 121 appearances for Dortmund across all competitions, and has been used as both a right-back and a left-back, as well as in more attacking roles when needed. With his work rate and flexibility, he has established a strong position at the club.
