The application period starts on December 11th
FIFA will open the official application period for World Cup tickets on 11 December at 5pm . Supporters around the world can then begin the process of applying for tickets for the tournament, including group stage matches. The application window applies to both national team fans who want seats in their respective team's fan zones, and neutral spectators who want a more general stadium experience.
Benefits for NFF gold members
The Norwegian Football Association informs that you must be a gold member of the Norwegian Football Association's supporter club to have any hope of getting into Norway's supporter field. You will then be sent a code from the supporter club that connects your Fifa user with your membership in the supporter club. The scheme is intended to reward the most loyal supporters and ensure a good atmosphere around the Norwegian team during the championship.
But unfortunately the requirements don't stop there. Because it's not enough to just be a member of the supporter club. To have the best chance of getting tickets, you must have earned enough points through the World Cup qualification from March 2024 to November 2025. There, you received one point for each international match you bought a ticket for.
The pool division for gold members;
- Pool 1: 10 or more points (280 Gold Members)
- Pool 2: 8–9 points (200 Gold members)
- Pool 3: 6–7 points (460 gold members)
- Pool 4: 4–5 points (1570 gold members)
- Pool 5: 2–3 points (3500 gold members)
- Pool 6: 1 point (6000 gold members)
- Pool 7: 0 points (12400 gold members)
Norway's group games will be played in Boston and New Jersey
The Norwegian national team plays its group stage matches on the east coast of the United States. The matches are split between Boston and New Jersey , two large cities with large arenas and good settings for a championship. This makes it relatively easy for traveling supporters to get between the match cities, while both destinations offer plenty of activities and logistical options around match days.
Possibility of neutral seats through FIFA lottery
Supporters who do not necessarily want a seat at Norway's field, or who want to increase their chances of getting tickets, can also use FIFA's official ticket lottery . This lottery applies to neutral seats and provides a wider range of options across venues and matches. The scheme operates independently of national membership and is open to anyone who wishes to participate.

As you know, it has been 27 years since Norway last played in the World Cup. And many Norwegian football fans, who are now old enough to travel across the Atlantic, were not even born when Norway beat Brazil in Marseille. That's why we have put together an FAQ that we hope will be helpful;
How much do World Cup tickets cost?
Prices vary considerably and are set by FIFA. Match, tournament round, category and stadium affect the price level. Official prices have not yet been published.
Are there any restrictions on how many tickets I can purchase as a Gold member?
Yes. To give as many people as possible the opportunity to experience Norway at the World Cup, each Gold Member can apply for a maximum of two tickets per match.
Can I buy tickets for other people?
Yes, you can. You can use your own ticket quota to buy tickets for others, and you don't have to use the tickets yourself. However, remember to make sure that those who receive the tickets actually use them.
Can I resell my tickets?
No. It is not possible to resell tickets via FIFA's official resale platform in this arrangement. This is to ensure that Norwegian supporters form the majority on Norway's field.
What do I do if I don't get tickets through the Supporter Club?
There is no guarantee of ticket allocation. Membership and points affect the chances. If you do not get tickets through the Supporters' Club, you can apply for neutral seats through FIFA's lottery. This also opens on December 11.
Can I still become a gold member?
Yes, there is nothing wrong with that. But if you sign up now, you will automatically end up in the last pool when the tickets are distributed. That is pool 7, which has 0 points. 12400 members are in that pool.
Do I need a visa to travel to the matches?
Norwegian citizens do not normally need a visa to the USA, Canada or Mexico. However, please note that the USA requires an approved ESTA, and Canada requires an approved ETA.
