Analysis Information
We are framing the deal with bankers!!
V85-1
1 Matti Ruisma won convincingly from the lead on V85 last time and is on a clear development curve. He has got a good starting point, he has shown that he can open quickly. With an action that should work well from track one, he has good conditions to get away without a mistake. From the lead he is undefeated after four attempts, and if he is in front again, he has a good chance of improving that statistic further. It will be a make or break, we start Saturday with a bang!!
V85-2
2 You To Awsome needs to raise her top level further to be able to lead all the way in this final, but the impression is that the four-year-old has the prerequisites for just that. This one seems to do what is required when the lead is taken, and gives nothing away. A natural first choice in the race. 5 Facetime Queen has delivered consistently strong performances and is well matched for this race. She shows the right attitude and solid strength, and with the last race in her body, her form should be on the rise.
V85-3
4 Cold Blaze will naturally be played hard as undefeated after five starts, but here the four-year-old is not getting anything for free. The gelding will probably have to do a lot of the work himself, in what is clearly his toughest test so far. Will be my first choice, but must be cautious with today's conditions. 11 Vanderbild won controlled from the lead in his debut of the year last time. A difficult starting point awaits here, but in terms of capacity he belongs in the top tier of this field. At the same time, a portion of flap will be required to get to the top. 3 Gomari is a very exciting "talker" this round. The four-year-old has gone with a lot of savings so far, but showed clear improvement from the lead last time. He is put on an American cart this time, which usually gives an extra gear.
V85-4
2 Eminent Kronos has a good chance of overtaking his inside stablemate in the fight for the lead and thus appears as a clear first choice in the race. The six-year-old has shown impressive consistency over time and is coming off a rock-solid lead win at V85. From the lead he has won 6 of 13. 4 Neymar Boko finished well behind High On Pepper last time and is showing top form. Victory is approaching, but the task is tougher this time against stronger opposition in the class. Speed and tempo in this race, yes then this can definitely go with straight backs along the way. 1 Katmandu Mearas has delivered strong finishes twice in a row from the back track. Before that he took a solid V85 win from the dead. Solely clear guarding.
V85-5
1 Steady King is a capable horse for this class. Second last he finished very quickly over the run and won convincingly. Last time he opened well, but galloped shortly after the start. From this point of view he is a narrow favorite for the lead – a position he is undefeated in after four attempts. 9 Readly Winner could have won last time with a bit of a margin, but still delivered a performance that holds up well in this field. Is the clear opponent. Can win this from several positions. I lock the race on these two.
V85-6
8 Glorius Rain is in brilliant form. She is a fast starter and best in the lead, so the tactics are a given. If she can take the lead without opening too hard, it could quickly be a race to the finish that wins. 9 Nikki Lane is an exciting first choice in this demanding sport step. Roger Malmqvist's strong mare has shown top form without getting a score, but now victory feels close. 12 Betting Pacer is clearly the most meritorious in the field with well over five million entered. Sport step here, and thus the "worst" starting position, but this is a very strong lady, who can handle the work.
V85-7/DD1
2 Kattbo Hunter should be the time now. The gelding was a very strong second in the Christmas round last year and followed up with a brilliant sprint most recently, over a less suitable distance, only beaten by Gliding Eagle who was saved on the line. Our winner in the race. 6 Katzenjammer is in good shape today, and has shown very nice strength.
V85-8/DD2
15 Rya Håleryd finished sparkling last and faces a similar task now, with many competitors to beat. With the form she showed, Magnus A. Djuse can be confident that it will be a victory battle as long as they get decent help along the way, which should be possible here, so we have GREAT faith in a win here. A V85 win is on the cards. We are bankers in the final.
