V75X Bjerke/Eskilstuna 27.01. 

Open start and ready banks in V75X at Bjerke and Eskilstuna

Tuesday's V75X round offers an open start, several tactically interesting races and a clear knock along the way. We've taken a closer look at each race - with favorites, challengers and where it might pay to be cautious. 

V75X-1 

This looks open, and it could be profitable with some crosses. 12 Brenne Bruno has shown the most in a relatively weak V75-1 field. Backtrack on the addition and a short break pulls him down. The opposition is clearly easier here than last, and both speed and stability make him a natural starting point. Gets the tip in an open introduction. 13  Uberg Olea finished quickly last and is in good shape. 4  Fante Frida was strong last, and close to victory. 3  Horg Terna galloped away a possible second place last, but has capacity.

 V75X-2 

3  Cab Mystery He is the favourite to take the lead, as he did last time, where he was able to set the pace before being beaten right at the finish line. Short distance is an advantage, and with Claes Sjöström in the sulky this is a solid win.

9  Kahbean made her comeback after a break since mid-October and then delivered a strong effort in third place at Eskilstuna. With that race under her belt she is expected to be much improved for this start. She also faces an easier field and even with a backtrack she should be considered early.

For those looking for an outsider, 6  MT Uxor worth noting. He impressed in his penultimate win at Örebro, where he led the whole way and finished strongly.

V75X-3 

3 Olu Guffen is the horse to beat, but can be stubborn, and normally wants a back. Was good in tough conditions last time. With the right race, he is likely to be the winner. 6 Smedsjur was solid in second and is dangerous if he gets to the front early. 9 Ramstad Stjernen had his race ruined last time, but is reported to be in good form and is normally in the fight for victory.

V75X-4 

2  Specification ran a good race second to last and is probably the favorite for the top position here. From the lead he can be difficult to pass and should lead the race for a long time. My favorite. 6  Four White EG was not at his best in the comeback last time and was beaten early, but still got a race in his body. He has previously competed against much tougher opposition. The horse is both quick to start and not sensitive to positions. 1  Expensive Jewel opens quickly, but the inside track can be a trap. But with a trip in the leader's back, it can be resolved in the best way.

V75X-5 

2 Excalibur Gene has impressed a lot. Will be chasing pole tonight. In the last race he won very easily from the dead against the same opposition. Maybe he should have thought of replacing the sprint with a half lap longer race, but I think this is a solid banker this Tuesday.

When guarding, it is primarily; 5  My Dreams sprint which is a clear plus and can be dangerous from the lead.

V75X-6  

Two horses stand out here. 3  Florenz G has three straight wins and has looked very strong. He is fast from the start and appears to be a strong winner tonight as well.

2  Cold Blaze is no worse candidate. Four wins in a row and still unbeaten. The capacity is high and there is more to go here. Expect the race to be between these two, and lock the race.

V75X-7 

2 Memorial Fashion has a good track here, and if it gets close the race is probably over, BUT it will probably be tough considering a couple of fast ones on the outside. In the first place # 6 Master Noark, and he has to rely on an outside trip. If he shows the same effort as the second last time, it should be possible. Was not familiar with the track last time, but certainly did not get carried away. Should be the clear favorite. 6 Master Noark is a very strong sprinter in the class and can lead the whole way if the favorite fails. Should both of these have a bad day, the race opens up, and I use some crosses on the bigger bets.
