It's time for the 26th round of Serie A, where AC Milan make the relatively short trip to the Olympic Grande Torino stadium to fight for all three points away to Torino. This is a match between two teams that have both shown better tactics in the past, but we think we know which of the teams can take all the points home.

Analysis of the teams

AC Milan are currently in a disappointing 7th place in the league, while Torino are struggling with a poor balance between defense and attack. They are conceding too many goals while scoring too few to compete at the top. Torino, with six draws in their last ten games, have struggled to settle even games. Milan, on the other hand, need to show more consistency to climb to where they want to be – at the top of the table.

Torino – failing at both ends

Torino are currently in 12th place in Serie A. This is not necessarily a cause for concern, as they have finished in roughly the same position at the end of the season in recent years. What is a warning sign, however, is their goal difference of -4, with 27 goals scored and 31 conceded. With only eight points behind Parma, who are below the line, it shows how close the bottom of the table is, and how important every point is for Torino.

As mentioned earlier, Torino have drawn six of their last ten games and have only won two. The team has scored just 27 goals so far this season, with an average of 1.10 per game, while conceding an average of 1.20 goals per game. This makes it difficult to secure the important three points.

In the previous round, Torino suffered a bitter defeat against Bologna, with debutant Cristiano Biraghi scoring an own goal to give Bologna the win just before full time. However, there was a bright spot when Eljif Elmas came on and scored on his debut for Torino. The versatile midfielder could become an important piece for the team for the rest of the season.

AC Milan – reason for optimism

After a busy January window, with players coming and going, it will be interesting to see if Sergio Conceição can bring more stability to the Milan team. New super striker Santiago Giménez has made a brilliant start with two goals in his first two games, while João Félix has shown glimpses of his great potential. With an average of 1.50 goals per game and 36 goals in total in the league, Milan have an offensive potential that could be exploited even further.

Among the new signings is Kyle Walker, known from his time at Manchester City. His experience and extreme speed could prove to be a solid addition to Milan's already stingy defense, which has kept a clean sheet in ten games this season.

After a disappointing Champions League exit in midweek, it will be important to get back on the horse and re-mobilise to chase another chance in the Champions League next season. But to keep the dream alive, they already need to win Saturday's match in Turin.

That's why AC Milan wins

As always, this is an important match for both teams. Torino will not lose touch with the teams ahead of them, while Milan need points to climb up and secure European play next season. Despite a hectic midweek for Milan, I think they will be too strong for Torino. With their new offensive reinforcements and a solid defense, I think Milan will emerge victorious from this duel and take all three points home to Milan. We think this will be an exciting match, where the qualities of the away team will be decisive in the end, and therefore we end up with the following bets;

Italy at 18:00: Torino - AC Milan: AC Milan wins (2.10)

Alternative game;

Italy at 18:00: Torino - AC Milan: Under 1.5 goals to Torino (1.33)
