We have reached the playoffs in the Champions League volleyball. The match we are going to is between the two best teams in Germany, SVG Lüneburg – Berlin Recycling Volleys, who are fighting for a place in the quarterfinals. This match is also something that many Norwegian volleyball fans are looking forward to as Oskar Espeland from Haugesund plays for Lüneburg.
He is a central winger and scored 14 points in the previous match in the Bundesliga. Oskar Espeland has been named MVP twice so far this season.

Key player for BR Volleys is diagonal player Jake Hanes with 13 points in the last match. BR Volleys have also won the Bundesliga for the last eight years in a row, and the German Cup for the last two years.

Conclusion

BR Volleys are big favorites, of course, when you look at the match history of the last three matches played between the teams, as well as eight straight years of victory in the Bundesliga. We actually have to go all the way back to Christmas Eve 2023 to find a match Lüneburg won against BR Volleys. Since then, Lüneburg and BR Volleys have met in seven matches, all won by BR Volleys.
