Analysis Information
This day we are going to Hockeyallsvanskan and Mora in Sweden, and the club Mora IK. The club was the first club from Dalarna in Sweden to join organized hockey. It also became the first team from outside the Malardalen region to establish itself in Sweden's top level. The club, which plays its home games in Smidjegrav Arena, has, as you can see, a rich history. But has never really established itself at the top. Not this season either.
They host the team Kalmar HC from Småland. The team that went bankrupt as late as 2000 has played its way back into good company. The team won as late as the 22/23 season in Hockeyettan, which earned them entry into Hockeyallsvenskan. The team has since taken further steps, but we will come back to that.
Mora IK – Worse than in a long time.
Mora has had a weak season, and is probably far behind the goal they set before this season. If you take the 8th place they are now in with two rounds to go as a starting point, this is the worst position the team has had since the 19/20 season. The team has been weak, and especially in the latter part of the season. They have only won 2 games out of the last 12, and have also lost the last 7 games. Admittedly, 4 of the losses have come after overtime. That is also the reason why we do not dare to play a win for the away team in this one, even though it is tempting, with the weak form they are showing.
We have noticed a trend lately that we will try to exploit. It actually applies to both teams. If you look at the last 7 games, which all ended in losses. We notice that the team is conceding more goals than earlier in the season. 3,5,4,4,1,5, and 5 conceded are huge numbers. Maybe we can exploit that? Of course, it depends on the opponent as much as they themselves, so let's take a look.
Kalmar – Designed above all else.
Kalmar have been good lately. In fact, they have been the best of all for a while. If you take the last 12 games at Kalmar, we see that they have the opposite statistics to their opponent. They have 10 wins and only 2 losses in the last 12. If you also look at the last 6 games, the team has won 5 and lost 1. The loss came against AIK who have been really good for a long time now. The team has continued its development since being promoted 2 years ago, and is now in a nice 5th place. The team finished last year in number 10.
But we are looking to see if we can take advantage of the home team conceding a lot of goals? We can really say that we can. Because in these last 6 games the team has scored a lot. 4,1,7,5,4 and 9 goals have been scored. That means that if we compare with the home team's statistics. It is almost the opposite also on these parameters. We think that it could be a good bet if we get odds on it.
Conclusion – One team produces and one team concedes.
If you look at the trends of the last few weeks, this seems like a clear advantage for Kalmar. Mora is in terrible shape, and is conceding a lot of goals. Considering that Kalmar has found the scoring form. We think that a goal bet for Kalmar could be interesting.
If we take both teams' recent results, we see that Mora concedes more than 3 goals in 6 of the 7, and Kalmar scores 3 or more in 5 of the 6. We get good odds on exactly that. So we try the following bet with that as a starting point.
Hockey at 19:00: Mora Ik – Kalmar HC: Kalmar HC scores over 3 asian (2.08)
