Molde has started to stir. This team has been a sleeping bear all season. Especially at home at Aker Stadion they have looked good the last two games. Now comes another visit on the same scale as those they have faced recently.

HamKam are visiting, and can probably expect to face a home team that is on the way to finding form. The team from Hamar has improved a bit lately under Myhre, but whether it is enough to take home something from here we are unsure

Molde – On the way out of hibernation.

We have seen the trends for a while now. Because after Hoseth came on as coach, this Molde team just looks better and better. It is true that they have not delivered in all the games after the holidays. But the arrow is definitely pointing in the right direction. We wrote a lot of this in the previous analysis, when we had Molde win over Bryne with a handicap. We hit the nail on the head, and Molde ultimately won deservedly 2-0.

If the arrow continues in this direction, a team like HamKam should be manageable. The expectations before the season were that Molde at this point should be miles ahead of HamKam when we got to this part of the season. But instead there are 3 points that separate. 20 points in 16 games is of course far from the goal so far.

Today's opponent is the team that is in the qualifiers, and it will therefore be a crisis for Molde to lose this match. With the potential in the team here and that as a backdrop, we believe that we will see a Molde that goes out to run over their opponent.

Against similar opposition, they have two wins in a row at home, and a 6-1 goal difference. We expect them to continue that trend at home.

HamKam – Only good enough to beat Haugesund?

In their last seven games, the team has only won one. It didn't come unexpectedly against a defeated Haugesund. But otherwise the team is struggling. The team is now in the playoffs, and Myhre should be happy that there are teams like Strømsgodset and Haugesund behind them. Otherwise, this team would have been in trouble quickly.

They score little and concede a lot. Because even though the team is only 3 points behind their opponent before this match, the goal difference is noticeably worse. 18-28 in goal difference is 11 goals worse than Molde so far. It will probably turn out in the end that this is what keeps them down there.

We've seen it before with teams that perform well on the pitch but fail to score goals and points. They struggle when the showdown at the end of the season comes.

We think it will soon be the same for HamKam this year. So even though there is not much that separates the teams so far, it is probably not a match HamKam expects to win. We also see the tendency for HamKam to struggle a bit against teams that have game strength. Today's opponent has been known for that. So we think it will be tough.

Conclusion – The home team gets three in a row.

There should be a class difference between these teams. If we had been offered playable odds on this match before the season, it would have been tempting to place a long bet. But things are as they are, and we have to deal with the facts. It tells us that there is not much that separates these teams so far.

But we think the trend in form and points is in favor of the home team. When they are also better at closing back in the field than their opponent, we imagine a home win. But 1.55 in odds is a bit tame, and we try a little more risk like we did against Bryne.

Therefore, we play the following games:

Eliteserien at 16:00: Molde – HamKam: Molde wins -1 asian (1.96)
