A new and exciting V86 round is set for this Wednesday, with a solid jackpot and a whopping 8 million extra in the pot. The races are held at Solvalla and Jägersro, and we've gone through the round with our reviews, banks and best betting suggestions.

Continuous results here.

V86-1

4 Sabatino Bo was raced a lot as a three-year-old without quite living up to his potential, but has had solid winter training and seems more developed now. With a bit more balance he could make a name for himself already in his debut of the year. He should handle slot four, even though he is not that fast from the start.

V86-2

2 Global Gratitude has found form after the winter and impressed with two straight wins. From a good track and fast start, there is room for an offensive approach, and whether he gets to the front or has to go outside, he will be very difficult to beat. Will be our jackpot banker in the round.

V86-3

9 Nova Mahiron comes in good form after a strong performance last time and has shown a nice finish. With the advantage for mares in this race she is also in a very good position.

V86-4

1 Tamacti Jun is making his yearling debut, but he could hardly have been given a more suitable task. With the opportunity to take the lead and a short distance, the six-year-old is set to lead for a long time – and perhaps the whole way.

V86-5

5 Charlie TT delivered several good performances last year, is approaching form and has also won the one time he was in the lead. We can see that scenario happening again.

V86-6

9 Young Danne made big strides last year and found form with Daniel Redén, and after a winter in training there he will be exciting in his comeback. With his strength and good attitude he is well in his class and must be reckoned with, although it will be interesting to see how offensive the race is set up.

V86-7

10 Staro Steven Staro Steven is an exciting horse who only started his career last year as a four-year-old, and has delivered strongly with seven podiums in eight starts, including four wins. This year he has been in tougher company and won an STL final from the lead in solid fashion, before he came too far behind last time and never quite got the run, but still made an acceptable effort in fifth. Now he is in better shape after a short break, the training is reported to be very good, and for the first time he will go barefoot – an interesting change. With a little flow from the back track he has a good chance of rounding this field.

7 Kalle May was fifth in the Danish Derby last year and has followed up with two strong runs after the break. He finished impressively from third track second to last and also had a solid run from the lead last time out. From a track far out it will be an offensive approach, and he has both the opportunity to drive himself to the lead along the way, or find a nice position, and win either way.

We lock on these two on the flat games.

V86-8

7 Hitting Hard makes his debut this year. Is above average from the start and can take the lead when attacking. Should he get to the front, the others will have to be good to beat him, and with reports of solid training from Conrad Lugauer this looks very interesting. Could easily be a trick tonight.
