Analysis of:
Dortmund – Bodø Glimt

Analysis Information
The Champions League adventure continues, but this time Glimt is far from home. Now an away match awaits them in Germany – and it will not be an easy task when they have to face the yellow wall on its own terms.
Dortmund – The Yellow Wall
It is not without reason that many teams fear German opposition. Germany has one of the world's most dedicated and passionate football cultures, with full stands and die-hard fans all the way down to the third division. So you can imagine the size of the fan base of one of the biggest clubs in the Bundesliga.
Dortmund have delivered some very entertaining Champions League matches this season. With a record of 3-1-1 and a goal difference of 17-11, they have provided plenty of goals and quality for their own supporters. Now they host Norway's Champions League representative at home – and they naturally go into the match as big favorites.
Bodø/Glimt – The corner kick machine from the North
After losing first place in the Eliteserien, Knutsen and his men are now fully focused on the Champions League. The dream of points – or perhaps a miracle and three – is still alive when they travel to Germany. Glimt must score in both of their next games if their hopes of a playoff are to be kept alive. That also includes a home game against Manchester City themselves at Aspmyra.
The team is optimistic, and that means we have to think outside the box – or more precisely, outside the dead line. Because here it's about creating dangerous situations that lead to corner kicks. It's this approach that seems most realistic against a Dortmund team that will probably be well organized and make it difficult for Glimt to threaten goals.
Glimt are 0-2-3 and have a goal difference of 7-11 in the Champions League, which is actually impressive considering the level they face. But I'm more unsure about whether they will score tonight.
Conclusion – Game Choices
When a big favorite meets an underdog with nothing to lose, I think Glimt will let loose, enjoy the experience and take valuable experience with them. The team loves to use the width, which often results in corners. Admittedly, top clubs don't give away corners for free, so Glimt has to work for what they get. But Dortmund are more likely to fend off attacks by clearing to corners than taking unnecessary risks in their own box – if you ask me.
That's why we're landing on a corner bet tonight - a bet that offers good value considering the number of corners required to get it in.
