Analysis Information
We have reached part two of the playoff in the Volleyball Champions League. This time we will once again be looking at a match between Berlin Recycling Volleys and SVG Lüneburg. In the first match, Lüneburg surprisingly won 3-2 with the set results 25-19, 23-25, 25-23, 24-26 and 27-24 in the decisive fifth set.
Berlin Recycling Volleys
Since the last match against Lüneburg, BR Volleys have played two matches in the Bundesliga against Freiburg and Haching München where they won both matches 3-0.
Key player for BR Volleys is diagonal player Jake Hanes with 15 points against Haching München last weekend.
SVG Lueneburg
Lüneburg has also played and won two more Bundesliga matches since the last meeting with BR Volleys. The match against Giesen Lüneburg won 3-2 at home, while against Herrsching Lüneburg won 3-0 away
This match is also something many Norwegian volleyball fans are looking forward to as Oskar Espeland from Haugesund plays for Lüneburg. He is a central winger and scored 15 points this weekend against Herrsching in the Bundesliga. He was also once again named the match's MVP. Those who actively follow Volleyball on 90 Minute Family will remember that Oskar Espeland already had two such awards this season in the previous match, which has now increased to three.

Status
How can BR Volleys advance in the Champions League after losing the previous match 3-2? BR Volleys must win 3-0 or 3-1 to advance to the quarter-finals of the Champions League. If BR Volleys wins 3-2, the match goes to the Golden Set. In the Golden Set, you only play sets to 15 points and you must win by a two-point margin.
How can Lüneburg advance to the quarter-finals of the Champions League? If Lüneburg wins 3-0, 3-1 or 3-2 they advance to the quarter-finals. If they lose 2-3 it will be a Golden Set as described above.
Conclusion
Going into this match, BR Volleys are big favorites according to the odds, despite losing in the previous match. You get 1.12 for BR Volleys to win the match. Here, BR Volleys are expected to win at home against Lüneburg and advance to the Champions League. This is probably closely related to the fact that BR Volleys have a history on their side of winning the Bundesliga for the last eight years in a row, and the German Cup for the last two years.
I think BR Volleys will have to fight hard to win and advance, as long as Lüneburg shows up and plays like they did in the first match. For the Norwegian islands, I hope we get to see the best version of Oskar Espeland and the rest of his team. It is entirely possible for Lüneburg to advance here since they have an OK result from the previous match. I think they will at least take one set and maybe even two? Then the match will go to the Golden Set and then anything can happen!
